Service
Compliance audit. Checked by a certified auditor.
We check your plant against the EN 50625 and EN 50614 standards and the CLC/TS specifications, with a certified WEEELABEX lead auditor. You get written findings, each tied to the requirement in the standard — not impressions.
When you need this
- You are going into the certification audit and want to know beforehand where you stand.
- Someone else prepared you and you want an independent check before the certification body arrives.
- You were left with a list of non-conformities from an earlier audit and want confirmation they are closed.
- You send WEEE to a treatment partner and want to know whether they work to the standard.
What we do, concretely
We set the audit scope
The WEEE categories you treat, the flows and the sites. That gives the list of standards that apply to you: EN 50625-1 for everyone, part two per category, the CLC/TS specifications, and EN 50614 if you prepare equipment for re-use.
We read the documentation before we arrive
The permit, the procedures, the registers, the subcontractor contracts, the records. Whatever can be checked from a desk is checked from a desk, so the time spent at your site goes on what can only be seen in the plant.
The on-site audit
We follow the material the whole way: intake, depollution, dismantling, storage, dispatch. We also talk to the people on the line — a procedure the operator applying it does not know is not implemented, it is only written.
We check the numbers, not just the paperwork
The mass balance per category, the recycling and recovery rates against the targets, and the route of every fraction to its recovery operator. If inputs and outputs do not add up, it shows here.
The audit report
Every finding tied to the requirement in the standard and to the evidence behind it, classified by severity. No general recommendations and no tick-box lists.
Closure check
Once you close the non-conformities, we look at the evidence and confirm in writing what is resolved and what is still open.
What you get
- The audit scope in writing: which categories, which flows, which standards
- The audit report, with every finding tied to the requirement in the standard
- Non-conformities classified by severity, each with the evidence behind it
- Written confirmation once you have closed the non-conformities
How we work
Either we do your consultancy or we audit you. Never both, for the same company. If we wrote your procedures or built your compliance plan, the audit is done by someone else. If we run your audit, you take the consultancy elsewhere. You choose which role we come in.
We sell you nothing during an audit. We do not tell you how to fix it, we do not offer you the platform and we do not write the missing pieces for you. We tell you what is wrong and what the standard requires; how you solve it, and with whom, is your call.
An audit runs on evidence. Anything that cannot be shown — a record, a weighing, a procedure known by the person applying it — for the audit does not exist.
Tell us which categories you treat.
We will tell you which standards apply to you and how long the audit takes at your site. And if we did your consultancy, we say so straight away — we cannot audit you as well, and we will point you to someone who can.
